Dear Fellow Homeschooler,
Thank you for your interest in the Christian Home Educator’s Support System (CHESS). We are always excited to share information about our group with prospective members. We know firsthand what a huge impact homeschooling has on all aspects of a family’s life. It is such a blessing, yet it can be overwhelming at times. Finding a network such as ours to support you in the calling that God has placed on your family can be so important to your efforts.
With that in mind, we would love to share our group’s purpose and programs with you. We are first and foremost, an exclusively Christian organization. We do not all belong to the same church or even the same denomination, but we all belong to the same savior. We share a common faith and a common goal of imparting that faith to our children.
In that spirit, we have several programs and activities in which we share the joy and responsibility to help our families grow in knowledge and wisdom. Below are some popular programs we currently sponsor:

Co-op Classes - Our most popular program – We now offer two co-ops, one held in Copperas Cove and one held in Killeen. We come together to hold classes taught by parents from the group. We offer a wide range of classes such as guitar, drama, P.E., biology lab dissection, cooking, art, various music classes, and many more.
Children and parents enjoy the fellowship at co-op as well as the fun of group classes.
If your family is interested in joining our group, please prayerfully consider the application procedure. The process begins with you filling out the application, paying special attention to the Statement of Faith. You can download and print the application by clicking the link below.
